Description

This documentary takes place during one of America’s darkest periods, with President Jackson’s Indian Removal Act and the forced relocation of the Cherokee nation to Indian Territory in 1838. “Thousands of Cherokees died during the trail of tears, nearly a quarter of the Nation. They suffered beyond imagination…and when they finally arrived in Indian Territory, they arrived almost without any children and with very few elders.” This DVD is narrated by James Earl Jones and is presented by Wes Studi.
